I have had many great birthdays but I would have to say my 31st was by far the best. That was the first birthday I had being a mom. My whole life I couldn't wait to have a child. After struggling for over two years and two miscarriages to have a baby, we finally did. I have never known a love like that...it changes you in so many ways;it makes me a better person. Being a mom is the greatest birthday present I've ever or shall ever receive. I never gave up during those two years of fertility. And for that persistence, I was rewarded. I've always been a firm believer in never giving up. Go for what you want in life and don't let anything stop you. WE CHOOSE how our life goes. And those choices we make helps determine our success and happiness.
Oh yes, and I have to give a shout out to ANGELA and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!

Loving this one!
My six month old baby girl is growing so fast. She just started sitting up by herself. She will be my last child and it's so bittersweet to see her development progress. I am enjoying watching her GROW.

FOBTY 6/19
What Your Fridge Says About You |
You tend to be a very hedonistic, greedy person. You have trouble saying no to what you want. You are a very thrifty person. You don't like to waste money... or food. You don't tend to be a very adventurous person, but you do surprise everyone now and then. You have a bit of a wild side. You are not very responsible, and you don't pretend to be. Life's too short to do what you're supposed to do. You are likely single - and spending many nights alone at home. |

Hands On!
On Father's Day we decided to take the girls to the Hands On Museum. They had sooo much fun as did my husband, John. There was one area that was set up like a news room and weather station. They even had a t.v. and camera hooked up so you could watch yourself report the news. Gracie LOVED this. She sat at the desk and would say "Hi" into the microphone. John got in the floor under the table and held Sydney up so that it looked like she was sitting reporting the news with Gracie. What fun we had!
I did this LO for the SSD Cookie Cutter Challenge. I used the new release Safari by Michelle Bennett. I really like her stuff....so versatile and colorful, full of great elements too!

CT Calls (A dream?)
I have now applied for three CT (creative teams). I know I just started scrapping last month but I have such a feel for it....a love I should say. What a wonderful way to preserve memories for my girls. I know I didn't make Traci Reeds. I don't think I made mandabeans, but haven't heard. And I just applied for Eva Kipler's CT. WOW, her stuff is amazing! I would actually love to start designing. Who knows? Maybe someday I will be taking applications for my own CT! lol
Now on to my LO. I made this LO using the AWESOME new release Girls Rule Boys Drool by Lauren Grier, mandabean, and Shauna Clingerman. I can never seem to get a good picture of both my girls at the same time. One is either looking away or running off. It's crazy! It's IMPOSSIBLE! LOL
My two year old has always been a bit difficult. She tends to be quite dramatic so the challenge NO MORE TEARS fit her perfectly. lol
I made thid layout using the new release Butterfly Kisses by Kipler and Hasford
My nearly six month old daughter is quite the mover. No matter where we put her, she is always on the move. We have to buckle her into everything. I chose this picture becasue she ALWAYS turns herself over in her bouncy seat. In this picture she was rubbing her foot back and forth across the grass!I made this layout using the new gorgeous Beachy Keen kit by Bennett and Martin.
This is one of my favorite LO. This LO was made using Michelle Bennett's new release Party Palooza. The alpha is also from Michelle Bennett's Rainbow Alpha. The colors are so bold and beautiful in this kit. My husband gave our 2nd daughter the nickname lil bit when she was just a few days old. Now that she is six months old and not so little, he still lovingly calls her that. It's a precious memory to scrap about!

FOBTY 6/12
Summer ah sweet summer......I'm a teacher so I love summer probably more than the average person. Water is a favorite here at our house. We have a small 3ft X 12ft pool and my two year old loves to get in it. We also have season passes to a local amusement park, Dollywood. We spend quite a few days of our summer there. But most of all, my favorite thing is to be outside on this gorgeous farm we live on. Just sitting around while the girls play is a wonderful treat.
I am behind on posting some of my new layouts. Here is one I did for SSD using a new release from Saturday called Deep Blue Sea:
Here is another one I did using Rookie by Misty Cato.
And here is another LO using Beep Chugga Zoom:

Cookie Cutter Challlenge #36 at SSD
My daughter is such a girly girl but still yet she has a streak of tom boy in her. She LOVES to climb. If there is anything she can get her little foot on, she'll climb up it. And of course you always say, "I DID IT!"This LO was done using Beep Chugga Zoom and the sun is from This n Thay by Andrea.
And here is one that I did trying to figure out how to make a pic blend into the background....

The Bald Spot
My 5 month old daughter has a bald spot on the back of her head. My two year old never had this because, well, we held her all the time. LOL It's amazing how things change with each child. So this LO was inspired by that bald spot. Thank goodness they learn to sit up! LOL
This LO was made using Love Shack.
And I did this one the other day just messing around with a free kit I downloaded called AM PM by Bridget.
